Being too scared to try new things.

Strength—not just physical but strength of character as well.

 

Q: If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

 My husband because I know he'd find a fantastic restaurant, we'd laugh our tails off and have a perfect evening.

 

Q: Who or what got you into working in the legal industry?

At 20 years old, I needed a job in DC to stay in town for the summer with my boyfriend. I sent my resume to every graphic design job opening. Burkey Belser, a pioneer in legal marketing, hired me to as an intern at Greenfield/Belser. I stayed for 25 years until we sold the agency, worked my way up to partner and married the boyfriend.
